Dr. Roberts has spoken at educational institutions, businesses, and events, including the 2014 Women in the World Summit. She has held many leadership roles, formerly serving as the president of the Society for Menstrual Cycle Research, and currently the Co-Vice President of the Nonprofit Education and Advocacy in the Movement Arts (NEAMA). She has also written many books, book chapters, and journal articles, including her article on Objectification Theory, which is the most cited article in the 50-year history of the APA Journal Psychology of Women Quarterly, and helped the journal secure its place as #1 in women's and gender studies.
